Our Vision

Our Mission
To serve our community by instilling love, hope and grace as we live in God's will as individuals and as a Christian church community.

ALL ARE WELCOME!

Our Beliefs
We the people of Christ Community Church enter into a promise with our Lord to share in the ministry of Jesus Christ with the acknowledgment of our Baptism.
We undertake this responsibility to offer God's grace to all people and create a Christian community where all those seeking God's blessing will be welcome.
We believe this mission is led by the Holy Spirit into the realm of God's Kingdom and hereby dedicated as Christ Community Church of Penhook.
Christ Community Church, a fellowship of believers, is a part of the Church Universal. Therefore, all persons, without regard to race, gender, color, national origin, station or economic condition shall be invited to attend its worship services, to participate in its programs and be received into its membership.

The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen
Communion

At Christ Community Church, we believe in the practice of open communion. This means that all who seek a relationship with Jesus Christ are welcome to participate in the Lord's Supper. We see communion as a powerful and inclusive act of grace, where God's love and forgiveness are freely offered to everyone.
We hold that:
1
Christ's Invitation: Jesus invited all to His table without restriction, and we strive to follow His example. Regardless of your background, denomination, or where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.

3
Grace for All: We believe that God's grace is available to everyone. Open communion reflects our commitment to sharing that grace with all who wish to receive it, acknowledging that the Holy Spirit works in diverse and mysterious ways.
2
Unity in Christ: Communion is a celebration of our unity in Christ. By sharing the bread and the cup, we remember Jesus' sacrifice and proclaim our common faith in Him. This act binds us together as one body, transcending our differences.
4
Spiritual Nourishment: The Lord's Supper is a means of spiritual nourishment and growth. By participating, we are strengthened in our faith and encouraged to live out Christ's teachings in our daily lives.

We invite you to join us in this sacred act on the first Sunday of each month, trusting that God's love knows no bounds and welcomes all who come with an open heart.
